Sept 1, 2009 - sent application to agency

Sept 3, 2009 - agency called, we are accepted into Ethiopian program

Sept 8, 2009 - first homestudy meeting with local agency and got finger printed (for FBI)

Sept 10, 2009 - mailed I-600A to USCIS

Sept 18, 2009 - mailed signed contract to Int. agency with first big check

Sept 21/22, 2009 - physicals for the whole family and TB testing - apt. set for finger printing for immigration

Sept 24, 2009 - 2nd homestudy meeting - dossier arrive and now we can start working on it

Sept 28/29, 2009 - completed 2 out of 5 education classes at local agency (there are 3 different education courses we take) ordering passport for Cris and had dossier phone conference

Sept 30, 2009 - all of our medicals are done and notarized

Oct 7, 2009 - last homestudy meeting (at our home)

Oct 15, 2009 - USCIS finger printing

Oct 16, 2009 - passport for Cris arrived

Oct 26, 2009 - mailed in Eyes Wide Open book to agency - 4th class at local agency - ready to send in homestudy report for review - finished last online class and sent certificates to agency

Nov 2, 2009 - local police criminal check done - changed age range to 0-5 for 2 children (instead of 0-3)

Nov 3, 2009 - HOMESTUDY DONE !!! Copies mailed to agency and USCIS

Nov 10, 2009 - Printed and notarized all of our dossier docs. County and state certification on POA. Make 3 copies of everything.

Nov 11, 2009 - Mailed our dossier !!!!

Nov 16, 2009 - Dossier accepted officially on the waiting list.

Nov 27, 2009 - Got I-171H in the mail from USCIS

Dec 1, 2009 - REFERRAL - Yippee!!

Dec 14, 2009 - sent referral acceptance pack back to agency

Jan 5, 2010 - Got a call about our court date. Jan 15 !!

Jan 15, 2010 - Court - We passed the first time!!!

Jan 26, 2010 - Got a call that our tentative travel date is Feb. 19 - 26 and Embassy apt. is Feb. 22

Feb 10, 2020 - Confirmation to travel - we leave in just over a week.

Feb 19, 2010 - Leave for Ethiopia

Feb 21, 2010 - MEET THE BOYS

Feb 22, 2010 - Embassy day

Feb 26, 2010 - Return home
